Previously our interior design studio worked as an ad-on to an existing architectural business, and with a vision to create a crisp, professional, refined but funky interior design studio, ‘Weave Interior Design’ was brought into being.
Our background in architecture is important to us, and we want to bring architectural aspects to the interior business - our designers consider more than furniture layouts and colour - spatial relationships, functions and volumes are just as important to the success of an interior space as the furnishings.
Our approach to design is a considered layered approach starting with the site as a whole, working through use and relationships of spaces down to the fine structural and furnishing details. All these aspects of what we do weave together to create intriguing internal spaces.
Our vision is for ‘Weave Interior Design’ to be a creative interior design studio with a definable style. That style is something we believe in and is integral to the business influencing our design approach and image. We would describe the style as classic, layered and eclectic. It has a distinctly Australian feel – defined as casual, clean and warm - with a European sophistication – defined as refined lines and good geometry.
Our clients are businesses and individuals who may have a sophisticated and eclectic taste, as well as those with more contemporary tastes.
Our work comprises high end residential, commercial, retail and hospitality industries to whom we offer design consultation, interior architecture, interior design, interior styling, and interior decoration services.
